another great tool is HyperOffice . you can easily set up customized individual and shared workspaces, with multiple collaboration tools like document management, forums, email, contact lists, calendars, project management, voting etc. It acts as an integrated alternative to Sharepoint and Exchange.

The folks at Smartsheet.com have also done a nice job of designing for VAs. If you typically use Email and Spreadsheets to track your work, this is an especially nice tool option.
